After some remarks about the definition, the poetical genre, the occasion and the performance of the σκόλια (§ 1), the paper deals with Ar. V. 1208-1250 and particularly with the signification of the expression δέχεσθαι τὰ σκόλια (used by Aristophanes) and the interpretation of the verses 1226-1227 (§ 2) and with some more properly political aspects of the passage (the status of Cleon’s family, the signification of the skolion entitled "Admetus", the pro-Thessalian policy of Cleon) (§ 3).

Dopo alcune precisazioni sulla definizione, il genere, l’occasione e le modalità di esecuzione degli σκόλια (par. 1), l’articolo si occupa di alcune questioni concernenti Ar. V. 1208-1250, e in particolare del significato dell’espressione δέχεσθαι τὰ σκόλια utilizzata da Aristofane e dell’interpretatione dei vv. 1226-1227 (par. 2) e di alcuni aspetti più propriamente politici della scena (riguardanti lo status della famiglia di Cleone, il significato dello scolio dell’"Admeto", il filotessalismo di Cleone) (par. 3).
