  • Here is the challenge: Build electrolysis cells that produce aluminium with the world's lowest energy consumption and the world's lowest CO2 footprint while maintaining high quality and productivity as well as a low CAPEX. In short, that's what Hydro's technology pilot at Karmoy is aiming to do: Verifi at an industrial scale the world's most climate- and energy efficient aluminium technology.
