  Hace algunos años ya, el desaparecido historiador y cronista oficial de la Ciudad de Tarifa don Jesús Terán Gil quiso aportar unas investigaciones muy interesantes y curiosas sobre nuestra parroquia de San Francisco de Asís transcribiendo y aportando un poco más de luz a su estudio con un documento de su archivo particular que está datado entre los años 1879 y 1880. Dicho artículo es el perteneciente al nº46 de nuestra preciada revista Aljaranda y se editó en el 2002, concretamente en la página 20-26 cuyo título es “Documentos sobre la parroquia de San Francisco” y hoy finalizamos dicho trabajo inconcluso.

  A few years ago, the late historian and official chronicler of the city of Tarifa don Jesús Terán Gil wanted to contribute some interesting and curious research on our parish of St. Francis of Assisi transcribing and giving a little more light to his study with a document its particular archive that is dated between the years 1879 and 1880. This article belongs to nº 46 of our esteemed magazine Aljaranda and was published in 2002, specifically on page 20-26, whose title is “Documents on the parish of San Francisco” and today we finish this unfinished work.
