Resumen de Van dieren, mensen en artsen: Pleidooi voor een interdisciplinaire benadering van de veterinaire geschiedenis
On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, the Netherlands Veterinary History Society organized a conference to reflect the mission and agenda of the discipline for the next 25 years. It was decided to invite speakers from related fields. This paper is a contribution from medical history. By presenting different styles in medical history, it attempts to show the diversity of the field and the potential of each approach. Using the history of zoonoses to illustrate, it concludes by a call for an interdisciplinary approach
