La investigación que presentamos aquí queda enmarcada en el modelo ecológico sistémico de Bronfenbrenner (1987), cuya perspectiva conceptualiza a la persona en proceso de cambio y maduración en relación con un entorno social, física y psicológicamente variable. La muestra de la investigación se compone de 40 sujetos significativos sociales y técnicos profesionales, pertenecientes a un entorno deportivo de excelencia confirmado por los resultados obtenidos. La selección se ha realizado rigurosamente mediante el criterio de muestreo teórico, como corresponde a la Teoría Fundamentada o Grounded Theory. Se ha utilizado la entrevista abierta para recoger respuestas sobre los comportamientos, las opiniones y valores, los sentimientos y emociones, descripciones del contexto y respuestas de conocimiento del objeto de estudio en relación a los factores claves como entorno de excelencia. Los resultados obtenidos aportan conocimiento sobre estos factores claves y son fundamentalmente la apuesta política y apoyo institucional; la dinamización y gestión; el proceso de creación de un contexto sociodeportivo excelente; la realización de infraestructuras deportivos y otras instalaciones y finalmente como, categoría central explicativa, el Liderazgo Compartido entre políticos y técnicos profesionales.

The research presented here is framed in the systemic ecological model of Bronfenbrenner (1987). Whose perspective conceptualizes the person in the process of change and maturation in relation to a social, physical and psychological variable environment. The sample of the research consists of 40 significant social subjects and professional technicians, belonging to a sports environment of excellence confirmed by the results obtained. The selection has been carried out rigorously by means of the criterion of theoretical sampling. It corresponds to the Grounded Theory. The open interview has been used to collect answers about behaviors, opinions and values, feelings and emotions. Descriptions of the context and knowledge responses of the object of study in relation to key factors as an environment of excellence. The results obtained provide knowledge on these key factors and are fundamentally the political commitment and institutional support. The revitalization and management. The process of creating an excellent socio-sport context. The realization of sports infrastructures and other facilities. And finally, as a central explanatory category, the Shared Leadership between politicians and professional technicians.
