En el siglo XX ocurrieron descubrimientos arqueológicos que lanzaron nueva y reveladora luz sobre algunos aspectos de dos de las grandes religiones del mundo moderno, el Judaísmo y el Cristianismo.
Siguiendo su principal fuente bibliográfica, este trabajo se enfoca más en los manuscritos de la Biblioteca de Nag Hammadi y más específicamente aun en el evangelio apócrifo de Tomás, de vertiente gnóstica y cristiana, abordando aspectos históricos y filosóficos que primero llevaron a una interpenetración de estas dos corrientes filosóficas y posteriormente a su separación. Revisa algunos conceptos gnósticos en relación a determinados contenidos de los evangelios canónicos que reflejan el mencionado momento histórico de coincidencia y, finalmente, los relaciona con el tema del Mal desde el punto de vista gnóstico cristiano de aquel momento.

In the twentieth century archeological discoveries took place that launched new and revealing light on some aspects of two of the great religions of the modern world, Judaism and Christianity.
Following its main bibliographical source, this work focuses more on the manuscripts of the Nag Hammadi Library and more specifically on the apocryphal gospel of Thomas, of Gnostic and Christian slope, addressing historical and philosophical aspects that first led to an interpenetration of these two philosophical currents and then to their separation. It reviews some Gnostic concepts in relation to certain contents of the canonical gospels that reflect the mentioned one of that historical moment of coincidence and, finally, it relates them with the subject of the Evil from the Christian gnostic point of view at that moment.
