The objective of this paper is to describe the evolution of the microstructure and phase transformations 1Cr - 0.5 Mo steel in reception conditions, heat treated and then being subjected to creep tests. To improve its conditions of service is performed in a material austenitizing with subsequent tempering that will allow the transformation of carbides. Thus the stable carbides of M2C type that cause secondary hardening by effect of the treatment dissolve and are replaced by M6C in ferrite and M23C6 in bainite. Tensile creep tests are performed with the same conditions in both steel in service conditions as in heat-treated. Microstructural variation, in which change the carbides with increasing tension in test is observed.
