    Blockchain es una herramienta criptográfica muy prometedora que, combinada con otras tecnologías emergentes, puede modificar el modo en que algunos servicios jurídicos son prestados. Debemos valorar si los servicios de los notarios pueden ser uno de ellos, y en caso de que sí, cuándo y cómo podría adoptarse blockchain . En este proceso, debemos además identificar los puntos clave de nuestro sistema notarial y, si hay una herramienta mejor para hacerlos más fuerte, utilizarla, como hicimos con la firma electrónica. La pregunta que nos debemos hacer es si blockchain puede ser una de esas herramientas.

    Blockchain is a very promising cryptographic tool that, combined with other emerging technologies, can modify the way that some legal services are being provided. We must value if notarial services can be one of these, and if so, when and how could blockchain be adopted. In this process, we also have to identify the key points of our notarial system and, if there is a tool to enhance it, definitely use it, as we did with the electronic signature. The question that we have to pose is if blockchain is one of these tools.
