Resumen de La política estatal de recompenses als investigadors en comunicació: una anàlisi crítica

La sociologia de la ciència mertoniana ja va establir que les recompenses que reben els investigadors pel seu treball influeix en les pràctiques i en la producció científica, la qual cosa evidencia la importància de les polítiques que s'hi apliquen. A partir d'una anàlisi secundària de dades obtingudes de les fonts del sistema universitari espanyol, es descriu l'evolució de la producció científica en comunicació dels darrers vint-i-cinc anys.
Posteriorment s'analitzen les resolucions de la CNEAI sobre criteris d'avaluació, els quals representen la política de recompenses aplicada a l'Estat espanyol durant els últims vint-i-cinc anys en el camp de la recerca en comunicació. Els resultats mostren un camp de recerca caracteritzat per un augment del nombre d'investigadors, una especialització en els seus interessos de recerca i una producció científica presentada en formats diversos. En aquest context, la política de recompenses al llarg d'aquest període és cada cop més restrictiva i dona més protagonisme a l'índex bibliomètric del factor d'impacte com a criteri principal de la validesa de la producció científica i a les revistes acadèmiques com a vehicle per a la seva difusió.

The Mertonian sociology of science already proved that rewards received by researchers for their investigations have an influence in their scientific outputs and practices, which shows how important the policies relating to this topic are. On the basis of a secondary analysis of the Spanish university system's official data, we describe how scientific output in the field of communication has evolved during the last 25 years. CNEAI resolutions on evaluation criteria, which represent the Spanish reward policies in the communication research field over the last 25 years, are then analysed.
Results show a research field characterized by an increasing number of investigators, more specific research projects based on their interests, and a diversification of scientific output formats. Taking all this into account, throughout this period the reward policies have become more and more restrictive, they have taken the bibliometric index of the impact factor as the main criterion for the validation of the scientific output and they have established the academic journals as the main vehicle of their dissemination.
