La búsqueda del telos en el debate liberal-comunitario: Taylor, MacIntyre y Rawls

    La concepción que experimenta el individuo moderno en torno a la libertad, tiene su específica correspondencia dentro de los márgenes liberales. El debate entre comunitaristas y liberales es el lugar donde se ponen en juego las piezas para ordenar esa concepción. Rawls propone una libertad media, entre la negación de la coacción y la ciudadanía participativa; y, por otro lado, Taylor, como MacIntyre, defiende una libertad afincada en términos históricos, narrativos. Desde este manejo del concepto, sale a la luz el problema del sentido de la vida, como problema filosófico, puesto que podría tener su origen, en una falta de telos, propio del actuar humano.

    The liberty conception that experience the modern agent, has its specific correspondence inside some liberal limits. The liberal–communitarian debate, is the place where the pieces are ordered to make that conception functional. Rawls proposes, a middle kind of liberty, between the coercion denial and the participatory citizenship; and by the other way, Taylor and MacIntyre, defend a historical, in narrative terms, kind of liberty. From this conceptual use, the meaning of life problem comes to light, as a philosophical problem, since, it may have its very origin on a lack of telos, that belongs to the human action itself.
