    Esta investigación presenta el estado actual en el que se encuentra la investigación aristotélica en torno a la metafísica del bien; muestra la importancia de conocer y estudiar a fondo esta cuestión para comprender mejor el contenido metafísico del Estagirita; y plantea cuá- les son las líneas de investigación que se pueden seguir en este tema. La investigación se estructura en tres partes: en la primera, se evidencia que existe un interés creciente por la ontología del bien en términos generales. En la segunda, se muestra que no es uno de los temas más estudiados en el campo de la metafísica aristotélica, y que la mayoría de los estudios que tratan este tema se centran en cuestiones de carácter histórico-filológico, lógico o formal. En la última, se exponen las investigaciones que sí que han estudiado algún aspecto de la metafísica aristotélica del bien y se muestra la importancia que esta tiene para el conjunto de la obra aristotélica.

    This research presents the current state of Aristotelian research on the metaphysics of good. It shows the importance of studying this matter in order to better understand the metaphysics of the Stagirite. And it outlines the lines of research that can be followed in this topic. The research is structured in three parts: in the first one, it is shown that there is an increasing interest in the ontology of the good in general terms. In the second one, it is seen that the metaphysics of the good is not one of the most studied subjects in the field of Aristotelian metaphysics; and that the major part of studies that deal with this topic focus on historical-philological, logical or formal questions. In the last part, the investigations that have studied some aspect of the Aristotelian metaphysics of the good are shown, as well as the importance that this has for the whole of the Aristotelian work.
