ABSTRACT: We reviewed a series of recently published studies in which the anterior chamber depth (ACD) distance was measured by Pentacam or Pentacam HR and compared with other measuring devices. Since some published studies reach contradictory conclusions regarding device interchangeability and include different ocular conditions, for instance, phakic eyes, pseudophakic eyes, cataractous eye, and so on, this review was carried out to try to clarify which clinical devices can or cannot be considered as interchangeable with Pentacam or Pentacam HR for the measurement of ACD distance in clinical practice.
