Woman painter and writer in the surrealist avant-garde, Leonor Fini (Buenos Aires, 1907 - Paris, 1996), free spirit and rebellious nature, is characterized by her transformations and disguises dictated by the desire to change herself. In her pictorial and literary works emerge the organic metamorphism as woman - sphinx and woman - cat, the sensuality of the body as a symbol of beauty, the conception of matriarchy as a natural expression of female potentialities in the communities of the Mediterranean, the panerotic look that transform reality into an imaginary universe between exoticism and aestheticism.

Pittrice e scrittrice nell’ambito dell’avanguardia surrealista, Leonor Fini ( Buenos Aires, 1907 – Parigi, 1996), spirito libero e di indole ribelle, si caratterizza per le sue trasformazioni e i suoi travestimenti dettati dal desiderio di modificare se stessa. Nelle sue opere pittoriche e letterarie emergono il metamorfismo organico come donna – sfinge e donna - gatta, la sensualità del corpo come simbolo di bellezza, la concezione del matriarcato come naturale espressione della potenzialità femminile nelle comunità originarie del Mediterraneo, lo sguardo panerotico che trasforma la realtà in universo immaginario tra esotismo e estetismo.
