Excesos sexuales, masturbación, ataques sexuales en la oscuridad y lesbianismo representan una serie de actos irracionales en la ley islámica y, por ende, son un reflejo de la sociedad medieval árabe. El análisis de estos actos en los tratados eróticos, los cuentos y la poesía es el objetivo principal de esta investigación. Para ello, estudiamos exhaustivamente el amplio abanico de prácticas eróticas y desórdenes sexuales que ofrecen las fuentes árabes a partir del siglo IX en adelante.

Sexual excesses, masturbation, sexual attacks in the darkness and lesbianism represent a series of irrational acts in the Islamic law and, in consequence, are a reflection of the Arabic medieval society. The analysis of these acts in the erotic treaties, the tales and the poetry is the main purpose of this research. For that, we have exhaustively studied the wide range of erotic practices and sexual disorders that the Arabic sources present from the century IX ahead.
