    El Museo Arqueológico Etnológico Municipal «Gratiniano Baches», se inauguró el año 1994, siendo inmediatamente reconocido por la Generalitat Valenciana. Consta de tres salas de exposición permanente y una temporal. En el circuito general se diferencian varias secciones: la primera es de medio ambiente, la segunda está compuesta por fósiles. La más amplia es la arqueológica, que presenta la Vía Augusta y la importancia de Thiar, junto con el gran contenido romano, que es responsable de las raíces de este municipio. La numismática, alberga material desde la más remota antigüedad. El esparto muestra con su artesanía, la ubicación en el Campus Spartarius. Continúan los útiles domésticos, textiles y la sección agrícola. Anexa a esta sala, se encuentra la del escultor Sánchez Lozano, un artista continuador de la obra de Salzillo y finalmente la reconstrucción del despacho de Gratiniano Baches, cuyos descubrimientos arqueológicos ilustran tanto este espacio como el general del Museo.

    The Museo Arqueológico Etnológico Municipal «Gratiniano Baches» opened its doors in 1994, being immediately recognized by the Generalitat Valenciana. It comprises three permanent exhibition rooms and a temporary one. The museum catalogue is displayed in the following sections: the first one focused on the environment and the second one on fossils. The widest one is the archaeological section, showing the Via Augusta and the importance of Thiar, together with the huge Roman content, responsible for this municipality’s roots. The Numismatics section holds material from the ancient times. The «Esparto» grass, with its handcraftship, points out its location in the Campus Spartarius. Following with this, comes the house tools, fabrics and the agricultural section. Next to it is the sculptor Sanchez Lozano’s room, an artist in the tradition of Salzillo, and finally the reconstruction of the Gratiniano Baches’ bureau, whose great archaeological discoveries are displayed in this room as well as in the museum’s main exhibition room.
