  En este artículo se explicará la historia del Museu de Menorca hasta la actualidad, a través de las diferentes fases de formación y del proyecto futuro del Museo. Después de que desde sus inicios el centro haya ocupado diferentes edificios en la ciudad de Maó, actualmente su sede se emplaza en el antiguo convento de San Francisco de Maó. Se trata de un Museo histórico que custodia colecciones arqueológicas, artísticas y etnológicas sobre el patrimonio menorquín. Este año se ha realizado la obra civil y se está elaborando el nuevo proyecto museográfico.

  In this article, we will discuss the history of the Museu de Menorca and continue up to the present, from the time of its creation through to the future projects that the museum has envisaged. Since the very beginning, the museum has occupied several different buildings in the city of Maó, and it is currently based in the old convent of Sant Francesc. It is a historic museum that includes archaeological as well as artistic and ethnological collections regarding Menorcan heritage. This year, construction has been carried out, while at the same time, a new museographic project is underway.
