This paper explores the univariate and geostatistical representation of roller integrated continuous compaction control data. Univariate statistical analysis shows how the selection of the evaluation area leads to asymmetry in the data distributions that is inconsistent with regression analysis and can lead to QA failure. Geostatistical analysis reveals the presence of anisotropy.
