    La realidad digital está ejerciendo una influencia indiscutible en los procesos de creación artística. Un nuevo contexto de creación, difusión y recepción, basado en la sociedad tecnológica y en las posibilidades de la conexión en red, está transformando profundamente algunos parámetros conceptuales vinculados a la enseñanza de las artes visuales. En este texto se apuntan algunas líneas de análisis y reflexión en torno a un caso concreto: �The next Rembrandt�, una iniciativa de recreación virtual de una obra inexistente, auspiciada por diversas instituciones públicas y privadas, que sirve como ejemplo de las posibilidades de renovación para la Educación Artística, ya que pone en revisión algunos términos complejos y cambiantes, como autoría, identidad, tecnología, patrimonio o arte. Hay nuevos caminos que pasan por la hibridación entre la creación artística y la comunicación digital en la sociedad de las pantallas.

    The digital reality is exerting an indisputable influence in the processes of artistic creation. A new context of creation, diffusion and reception, based on the technological society and the possibilities of networking, is profoundly transforming some conceptual parameters linked to the teaching of the visual arts. This text points out some lines of analysis and reflection on a specific case: "The next Rembrandt", an initiative of virtual recreation of a nonexistent work, sponsored by various public and private institutions, which serves as an example of the possibilities of renovation for Art Education, since it puts in review some complex and changing terms, such as authorship, identity, technology, heritage or art. There are new paths that go through the hybridization between artistic creation and digital communication in the society of the screens.
