  Como consecuencia de los hechos ocurridos el 1 de Octubre de 2017 en Cataluña en el marco del Referéndum sobre la independencia convocado por la Generalitat de Cataluña, el Observatorio del Sistema Penal y los Derechos Humanos, a través del Sistema de Registro y Comunicación de la Violencia Institucional (SIRECOVI), ha recibido numerosas comunicaciones por parte de testigos de varias de las intervenciones policiales que se produjeron en los 90 colegios electorales que fueron clausurados aquel día por agentes del Cuerpo Nacional de Policía y de la Guardia Civil. Con este informe, por lo tanto, se pretende realizar un breve reporte de toda la información recopilada por el SIRECOVI, y que fue comunicada en su momento a todas aquellas organizaciones que forman parte de la red de destinatarios del Sistema.

  As a result of the events that occurred on October 1, 2017 in Catalonia in the framework of the referendum on independence called by the Generalitat of Catalonia, the Observatory of the Penal System and Human Rights, through the System of Registration and Communication of Institutional Violence (SIRECOVI), it has received numerous communications from witnesses of several of the police interventions that took place in the 90 polling stations which were closed that day by National Police and Civil Guard.
