Resumen de A conjugalidade nas diferentes etapas do ciclo vital familiar

  The conjugality is a dynamic phenomenon that changes over the life cycle. In this study, we aimed to compare how love, marital quality and adjustment are expressed in the different stages of the vital evolutionary cycle, in 372 people, of both sexes, residing in the Rio Grande do Sul. As instruments, we use GRIMS, DAS and ETAS. We verified in families with young children (age from 0 to 11) the worst results in the investigated constructs and in the families with teenager children (age from 12 to 21) the best results. The data corroborate the literature, which discusses that the relationship time generates variations in the perception of marital satisfaction, as well as the finding that the demands of the children, especially small ones, impact the marital construction. These findings point to the need for systemic approach preventive work, in order to make families more adept at dealing with their developmental crises.

  A conjugalidade é um fenômeno dinâmico, que sofre alterações ao longo do ciclo vital. Nesse estudo objetivamos comparar como se expressam amor, qualidade e ajustamento conjugal nas diferentes etapas do ciclo evolutivo vital, em 372 pessoas, de ambos os sexos, residentes no Rio Grande do Sul. Como instrumentos, utilizamos: GRIMS, DAS e ETAS. Verificamos nas famílias com filhos crianças (0 a 11 anos) os piores escores nos construtos investigados, e nas famílias com filhos adolescentes (12 a 21 anos) os melhores resultados. Os dados encontrados corroboram a literatura, que discute que o tempo de relacionamento gera variações na percepção de satisfação conjugal, bem como a constatação de que as demandas dos filhos, principalmente pequenos, impactam a construção conjugal. Tais achados remetem à necessidade de trabalhos preventivos com olhar sistêmico, de modo a tornar as famílias mais hábeis para lidar com suas crises do desenvolvimento.
