    Se estudió la evolución de la alianza terapéutica durante 20 semanas y su relación con el apego considerando la mejoría/empeoramiento sintomático como una variable de confusión. En una muestra de 30 adultos se administró el Working Alliance Inventory-Short Form en ocho ocasiones, la Experiences in Close Relationships Scale en una y el Clinical Outcomes in Routine Evaluation Outcome Measure como medida basal y en la semana 20. Se evidenció una evolución lineal ligeramente creciente de la alianza terapéutica. Al asociarla con apego, la dimensión de evitación no reveló correlación. Con la ansiedad sí se mostró una relación negativa más fuerte avanzada la terapia. No se hizo necesario el ajuste. Se discuten las implicaciones prácticas de estos resultados.

    We studied the evolution of therapeutic alliance and its relationship with attachment for 20 weeks, considering symptom improvement / worsening as a confounding variable.

    A sample of 30 adults completed the Working Alliance Inventory-Short Form eight times, the Experiences in Close Relationships Scale once, and the Clinical Outcomes in Routine Evaluation Outcome Measure at baseline and in week 20. We found a slightly growing linear evolution of therapeutic alliance. When associated with attachment, avoidance dimension did not reveal correlation.

    When associated with anxiety, it did show a stronger negative relationship at advanced phases of the therapy. No adjustment was necessary. Practical implications of these findings are discussed.
