  Dans la région de Fukushima, l’espace est, depuis la triple catastrophe de mars 2011, peuplé d’entités au mode de présence singulier : invisibles, intouchables, inaudibles, elles mettent au défi tout observateur attentif, requérant de lui qu’il déplace considérablement son appareil théorique et méthodologique. Cherchant à intensifier l’expérience de terrain mené depuis 2012, en l’articulant à une expérience collective plus récente ainsi qu’à des données empruntées à l’histoire des sciences (plus particulièrement celle du compteur Geiger), il est question, dans cet article, de restituer la texture propre à ce territoire contaminé en désenclavant les répertoires communément utilisés pour en rendre compte. Loin d’un catastrophisme événementiel, il s’agit de trouver le bon ton et le bon son pour se mettre au diapason de ce qui est toujours en train d’advenir.

  Since the triple disaster that occurred in March 2011, the department of Fukushima is inhabited by singular entities : entities that cannot be seen, cannot be heard, cannot be felt. This situation challenges anyone who would carefully try to grasp what is happening here and calls for a theoretical as well as a methodological move. Aiming at intensifying the field experience carried since 2012 by articulating it to a collective experience and to data borrowed from the history of sciences (more particularly the history of Geiger counters), this paper offers to render the very peculiar texture of this contaminated field by opening up the repertoires commonly used to describe it. Far from a factual narrative, its objective is to look for the best tonality to attune oneself to what is still in its becoming.
