    The total accession of women in the labour market, the introduction of new technology, the development of third sector: they are transforming the face of work. Although all these transformations, we wonder how the relationship of gender is changing in domestic work. This paper aspires to analyze women's work nowadays, starting from recent official data and also press resources, classic texts and recent texts. Therefore we present an analysis of work division, considering its causes and consequences, of the issues in the work environment, of the emergence of modern age and of the several roles played by women.

    L'entrata massiccia delle donne nel mercato del lavoro, l'introduzione delle nuove tecnologie e la crescita del settore terziario hanno cambiato il volto del lavoro. Nonostante tutte queste trasformazioni, ci chiediamo come si svolge il rapporto di genere nell'ambito del lavoro domestico.L'analisi del lavoro femminile avrà come punto di partenza: dati ufficiali, fonti di stampa, testi classici e testi recenti.

    In questo senso si sviluppa una discussione in torno alla divisione del lavoro considerando le sue cause e conseguenze, all'avvento della modernità e ai molteplice ruoli svolti dalle donne.
