    Las confesiones de cautivos musulmanes, capturados navegando en embarcaciones islámicas no piráticas y que llegaron a Valencia entre 1409 y 1434, permiten descubrir los intensos contactos existentes entre norte y sur del estrecho de Gibraltar. Comercio de cabotaje y de corto radio, pesca y migraciones muestran el pulso frenético de la navegación cotidiana y revelan la inexistencia de fronteras económicas, sociales y humanas entre el Norte de África y el sultanato nazarí de Granada

    The confessions of Muslims, captured when sailing in Islamic non-pirate ships and brought to Valencia between 1409 and 1434, reveal the existence of intense contact between the northern and southern shores of the Strait of Gibraltar.
