    • A type of “meideshuo” discourse markerscontains three subtypes: “meideshuo”,“meihuashuo”, and “meishuode”. From thepoint of view of semantic-pragmatics, this typeof discourse markers evolves dynamically fromthe meaning of “no words to say” to “positivemeaning”, and finally evolves to a discoursemarker. The metapragmatic functions of thediscourse markers are new information focused, proposition affirmed, and communicativepurpose predicted. The process of the discoursemarker evolution is not only the process oflexicalization and grammaticalization, but alsothe process of intersubjectification. Thepragmatic extensions and semantic entailmentare contributed to function as motivations forthe dynamic evolution of “meideshuo”discourse markers.
