    The Author comments a cas of uncommon localization of osteomyelitis which produced the epiphysary loosening of the femoral cap whith destruction of the neck. He found the pathogeny of this illnes upon the description made by the authors NUSSBAUM and DRACHTER about the meta-epiphysary circulation.

    The treatment consisted in the opening of the articulation and the extraction of the cap which floated freely in the articular cavity

    L'Auteur commente un cas de localisation peu fréquent d'ostéomy(:- lite qui produisit le détachement épiphysaire de la calotte fémorale avec destruction du cou. Ii base la pathogénie de cette maladie sur les descriptions que les auteurs NUSSBAUM et DRACHTER ont écrit à propos de la circulation meta-epiphysiare.

    Le traitement consistait dans l'ouverture de l'articulation et l'estraction de la calotte qui flottait librement dans la cavité articulaire.
