En este artículo, se analizan algunos poemas de En las orillas del Sar, con el objetivo de destacar las estrategias discursivas que escenifican la lucha interior de un sujeto problemático. Se demuestra que gracias al manejo de algunos recursos –como el multiperspectivismo, la ironía y el diálogo–, la voz lírica, respirando la atmósfera y las influencias literarias de la época, representa el curso conflictivo de los pensamientos de un yo alimentado por la duda, que se cuestiona críticamente, se debate entre verdades opuestas y se enfrenta con la palabra ajena.

In this paper, we analyze some poems of En las orillas del Sar, in order to highlight the resources which dramatize the inner struggle of a problematic subject. We show that through some devices (such as multiperspectivism, irony and dialogue), the lyrical voice –floating through the literary atmosphere and influences of the time– represents the conflicting thoughts of a poetic “I” harassed by doubts, critically questioning and struggling between contrasting truths and dealing with the words of others.
