    Este artículo se centra en Dublinesca, la reciente obra de Enrique Vila-Matas (Barcelona, 1948). Examina cómo el escritor pone a prueba su concepción del arte de la novela del siglo XXI, a partir de una nueva relación con la poética de la modernidad y un pensamiento crítico sobre el mundo. Intentamos así dilucidar las características del concepto de verdad que se introduce profundamente en los cauces de la poética de Vila-Matas a través de una transformación recíproca de la escritura, la lectura y la existencia que se va desarrollando en el lenguaje literario para, entre otros objetivos, reafirmar el valor insustituible del sentido artístico de la novela así como de la fuerza de revelación de la auténtica creación literaria en la obra de Vila-Matas.

    This article focuses on Dublinesca, the recent work of Enrique Vila-Matas (Barcelona, 1948). It examines how the writer tests his concept of the art of the twenty-first century novel through a new connection with the poetics of modernity and a critical thinking of the world. The purpose is to identify the characteristics of the concept of truth that is deeply ingrained in Vila-Matas' poetics through reciprocal transformation of the writing, the reading and the existence created in the literary language, in order to - among other aims - reaffirm the essential value of the artistic sense of the novel and the revelatory power of authentic literary creation in the work of Vila-Matas.
