Resumen de Lessons learned:: A tribute to Dr. Gary Kielhofner
Over the past 10 years, I have known Gary as a visionary department head, a protective and pragmatic supervisor, a respected colleague, and a valued and ever-challenging mentor. Since Gary passed away, I have reflected multiple times on the lessons I learned from him. Through his actions, Gary showed me what is required of a great scholar in our profession: (1) Passion for creating new knowledge that can change how we think and act, (2) Accessible and relevant ideas that have direct utility for practice, (3) Total commitment to sharing ideas as widely as possible through publication, and (4) Always being prepared for intellectual debates.
