Resumen de La educación superior en España: financiación y acceso

El objetivo del artículo es el análisis de las relaciones entre financiación y acceso de los estudiantes a la educación superior española. Este objetivo principal se proyecta sobre tres componentes del artículo: en primer lugar, la descripción de la situación actual en cuanto a financiación (en general y, específicamente, financiación destinada a facilitar el acceso); en segundo lugar, el planteamiento de una serie de elementos que alteran sustancialmente el escenario global de la financiación universitaria y, finalmente, la propuesta de diversos programas que intentan dar respuesta a las alteraciones mencionadas, en un contexto potencial de convergencia de los niveles del gasto público universitario español con el de los países de nuestro entorno.

The objective of this article is the analysis of the relationship between the financing and the access of students to high secondary education. This main objective is shown on three components of this article: in the first place, the description of the current situation about the financing (in general and, specifically, that for facilitating access); in the second place, the setting of a series of elements that changes in a substancial way the global picture of university financing and finally, the proposal of several programmes trying to respond to the above mentioned alterations in a potential context of convergence of the levels of Spanish public university expenditure with that of countries in our context.
