Resumen de Estudio descriptivo de 57 agresores sexuales adolescentes atendidos en el programa ATURAT de las Islas Baleares

  ATURA’T es un programa de la Dirección General de Menores y Familia del Govern de les Illes Balears especializado en la evaluación y la intervención con adolescentes que han cometido una agresión sexual.1 En el presente artículo se describen pormenorizadamente las características de la población atendida (n= 57) por el programa desde su creación en el año 2008 hasta diciembre de 2013.

  Además de recoger los rasgos generales de la población atendida también se han analizado los indicadores validados por el modelo AIM2 Model of Initial Assessment2 (Print, et al. 2007). Este modelo permite elaborar un perfil de necesidad de supervisión e identificar los factores protectores y de riesgo que van a facilitar el diseño de la intervención posterior.   ATURA’T is a program specializing in the evaluation and treatment of adolescents (14-18 years) who have been convicted of committing a sexual offence. It is operated under the auspices of the Menors i Familia section of the autonomous government of the Balearic Islands, Spain.  The present article sets out the characteristics of the population of young people (n=57) seen by the program from its inception, in 2008, until the end of 2013.

  In addition to presenting the general profiles of the young people who attended, there is also an analysis the aspects identified by the AIM2 Model of Initial Assessment (Print et al, 2007). This latter instrument evaluates both factors of concern (risk) and also strengths (protective factors) which, following analysis, allows for the estimation of the Level of Supervision required. It also identifies those factors that need to be addressed in treatment after the initial assessment. ATURA’T is the only progam in Spain using the Spanish version of AIM2 (McGrath, 2008). Data is also provided in relation to the victims of the young people who attend ATURA’T.
