    La presente reseña del libro: “Experiencias Habitacionales Significativas en Latinoamérica y España. Seminario Internacional” compilado por Víctor Pelli, Laura Alcalá, Marta Giró y Maria Bernabela Pelli, sintetiza la relevancia de esta obra y sus contenidos principales, haciendo énfasis en el aporte concreto al campo de las políticas habitacionales y el hábitat social, a partir de la visibilización del repertorio de las soluciones denominadas “alternativas” implementadas en las últimas décadas en Latinoamérica y España. Se desarrolla además un recorrido por las distintas secciones en las que está organizado el libro, que repasa diferentes experiencias de intervención habitacional: la consolidación de barrios, la rehabilitación de conjuntos, la construcción de viviendas nuevas y los sistemas de producción alternativos, constituyéndose en un material de consulta para todos aquellos estudiantes de grado y posgrado e investigadores como también para decisores políticos y técnicos vinculados con la temática.

    The present book review: “Significant Housing Experiences in Latin America and Spain. International Seminar “, compiled by Víctor Pelli, Laura Alcalá, Marta Giró and Maria Bernabela Pelli, synthesizes the relevance of this work and its main contents, emphasizing the concrete contribution to the field of housing policies and social habitat, starting from the visibility of the repertoire of solutions called “alternatives” implemented in the last decades in Latin America and Spain. There is also a tour of the different sections in which the book is organized, which reviews different experiences of housing intervention, including neighborhood consolidation, rehabilitation of buildings, new housing construction and alternative production systems. in a reference material for all undergraduate and graduate students and researchers as well as for policy makers and technicians related to the subject.
