    El presente estudio tiene como objetivo el análisis del tratamiento que realiza la literatura románticade la figura de Enrique II de Castilla, teniendo en cuenta la relevancia de este personaje histórico comofundador de la dinastía de los Trastámara, cuyo origen está enmarañado en el telar de la bastardía y el fratricidio.
