Occupational therapists are realizing that the possibilities for our clients to engage or re-engage in essential aspects of their lives within their communities and societies, fostering their social and cultural occupations, lie in realizing the possibilities of occupational therapy. (Dec. 2011) highlighted ageism as an issue that affects the ability of occupational therapists to provide key services to older adults; they examined the strength of evidence of educational interventions to remediate ageist attitudes among health care students.
