Resumen de El impacto de la deslocalización en La Rioja (España)

Rubén Fernández Caro

  • español

Globalization has entailed a great number of changes that are changing societies at a dizzying pace, these changes in the field of work, have meant the implementation of new business strategies such as offshoring. Offshoring involves the loss of jobs in the industrialized countries in favor of the emerging powers or towards the nations of Eastern Europe in search of cheaper labor costs and less labor rights. Spain has not been alien to this strategy and since the 1990s, when the phenomenon began to the present, it has lost multinational companies that were settled in its territory. The consequences of this relocation through the accounts of workers, tries to give voice to its effects beyond the economic repercussions on the territory.
