Resumen de El uso de la lengua alemana y latina en Alemania en el periodo del humanismo renacentista

Durante el Humanismo renacentista en Alemania existía una considerable riqueza y diversidad lingüística que contribuyó a la formación de su patrimonio cultural lingüístico, pese a que la hegemonía del uso del latín en los ambientes culturales como la escuela, las universidades, el mundo de la política y las instituciones en general, redujo el uso de la lengua alemana. Esta situación hizo que el latín fuera el instrumento lingüístico utilizado por los humanistas alemanes, puesto que en el propio concepto de humanista iba incluido dicho uso; sin embargo, no todos los humanistas alemanes utilizaron dicha lengua de forma exclusiva, ya que algunos compatibilizaron el uso de ambas lenguas, el latín y el alemán, lo que favoreció la riqueza y diversidad lingüística de Alemania en esta época.

During the Renaissance humanism in Germany there existed an outstanding linguistic diversity that contributed to its linguistic cultural heritage, even though that the hegemonic use of the Latin language at schools, at the universities, in the political life and at every institution in general, reduced the use of the German language. This situation explains that Latin was the linguistic instrument used by German humanists, since the own concept of humanism includes such adoption; however, not all German humanists used that language exclusively, some of them employed simultaneously both languages, German and Latin, what favored the richness and linguistic diversity of Germany at this time.
