Resumen: Desde finales del siglo XX asistimos a una corriente literaria en continuo auge y cuyo origen lo encontramos en los años 70 en Doubrovsky, se trata de la “autoficción”, un híbrido literario y cultural que permite al egocéntrico autor postmoderno mostrar su egolatría sin la necesidad de tener que recurrir a un género desprestigiado como la autobiografía (Alberca, 2009: 18). La autoficción que encontramos en El buque fantasma (1992) y en Ayer no más (2012) del leonés Andrés Trapiello tiene la peculiaridad de ajustarse al “principio de indecidibilidad” creado por él mismo (Trapiello, 2013) y que se basa en la imposibilidad de decidir si lo que se cuenta en la novela es real o no, lo cual representa la victoria de la veracidad sobre lo verídico.Palabras clave: español, autoficción, autobiografía, novela, memoria, siglo XX

Abstract: The theory of the “autofiction” created by Doubrovsky en the seventies experienced a huge increase during the last two decades of the 20th Century. This technique, a hybrid between literature and cultural studies, allows the postmodern author to show his egotism without resorting to the discredited autobiography (Alberca, 2009:18). The Spanish author Andrés Trapiello has developed this autofiction in his own way, calling it “indecidibilidad” (Trapiello, 2013). Among Trapiello’s narrative production, El buque fantasma (1992) and Ayer no más (2012) are two of his novels where we find autofiction more clearly. This “indecidibilidad” consists in the affirmation that it is impossible to say if the story we find in the novel is true or not, about the veracity versus truthful facts.Keywords: Spanish, autofiction, autobiography, narrative, memory, 20th Century
