  Tras la entrada en vigor de la normativa reguladora de las SOCIMI por la Ley 11/2009, no ha sido hasta su modificación por la Ley 16/2012 cuando comenzaron a despegar como destacados vehículos de inversión, canalizando un importante volumen de recursos hacia activos inmobiliarios y acaparando la atención de los inversores extranjeros hacia el sector de los servicios inmobiliarios. Casi una década después de aquella regulación normativa pretendemos ayudar a conocer las modificaciones legales introducidas en la regulación normativa de las SOCIMI para, de este modo, entender cuál ha sido y cuál está siendo el papel que están jugando en la potenciación del mercado de la vivienda en alquiler y como vehículo de inversión.

  After the entry into force of the regulation of SOCIMI by Law 11/2009, it was not until its amendment by Law 16/2012 when they began to take off as prominent investment vehicles, channeling a significant volume of resources to real estate assets And grabbing the attention of foreign investors towards the real estate services sector. Almost a decade after that normative regulation we intend to help to know the legal modifications introduced in the normative regulation of the SOCIMI in order to, in this way, to understand what has been and what is being the role that they are playing in the empowerment of the housing market For rent and as an investment vehicle.
