    El presente artículo pretende realizar una síntesis de las figuras más representativas de dos épocas bien diferenciadas del Derecho: Quintus Mucius Scaevola, el jurista más representativo de su época y quizás el de mayor influencia en la Jurisprudencia del Principado, y del glosador Accursio, quien, con su Glossa Magna puso las bases jurídicas y sistemáticas para la recepción del Derecho Romano en la Edad Media.

    This article intends to make a synthesis of the most representative figures of two distinct epochs of Law:

    Quintus Mucius Scaevola, the most representative jurist of his time and perhaps the one with the greatest influence in the Jurisprudence of the Principality, and the glossator Acursius, who with his Glossa Magna laid the legal and systematic basis for the reception of Roman law in the Middle Ages.
