  Este artículo intenta desarrollar la conceptualización nietzscheana de muerte de Dios como metáfora interpretativa de la modernidad tardía donde revisaremos desde la perspectiva hermenéutico-metafórica la imbricación del acontecimiento con la modernidad. ¿Qué tipo de Dios muere con el anuncio nietzscheano? La muerte de Dios es el himno triunfante de la batalla moderna entre la congregación medieval del saber y la diversificación moderna de saberes; entre la moral centrada en la virtud del alma y la ética centrada en la autonomía de la razón; entre el progreso como certeza teleológica y Dios como verdad teológica.

  This article attempts to develop Nietzschean conceptualization of the death of God as an interpretative metaphor of the late modernity. We will revise the interweaving of the death of God and modernity from the hermeneutical and metaphorical perspective. What kind of God dies upon Nietzschean announcement? The death of God is the triumphant hymn of the modern battle of knowledge between its medieval congregation and its modern diversification; between the moral focused in the soul‟s virtue and the ethics centered in the autonomy of reason; between progress as a teleological certainty and God as theological truth.
