Sistemas de gestión orientados a proyectos: necesidad de su implementación en instituciones académicas deportivas

    La literatura refiere la necesidad que tienen hoy todas las instituciones académicas de utilizar sistemas de información. La idea de utilizar este tipo de sistema es convertir la información disponible en conocimiento que represente ventaja competitiva para la organización. Sin embargo, a pesar de constituir una fortaleza para cualquier organización tanto para gestionar su información estratégica como para gestionar la información generada por proyectos de investigación aún no son muy utilizados. La realidad muestra que las instituciones académicas deportivas del país y principalmente las facultades de cultura física carecen de una cultura en el uso de sistemas para gestionar diferentes tareas sustantivas del centro, como es la actividad de proyectos de investigación. Se estima que si se apoyaran más en el uso óptimo de la información y el conocimiento que poseen a nivel grupal se incrementarán significativamente todos sus indicadores de producción científica. A partir de este escenario, esta investigación tiene como objetivo exponer las principales fortalezas de los sistemas de gestión de información y conocimiento, principalmente aquellos orientados a proyectos para la estimulación de su uso e implementación en las instituciones académicas asociadas al deporte. Para lograr este objetivo se utilizó el método histórico lógico, la observación directa, el método de análisis y síntesis, etc. Y dentro de los principales resultados obtenidos en esta investigación se destaca la pertinencia del uso de sistemas de gestión de información y conocimiento orientados a proyectos para contribuir al fomento y éxito de las actividades de investigación generadas por proyectos.

    The literature refers to the need that all academic institutions have today to use information systems articulated with the different processes that the organization executes. The idea of using this type of system is to convert the available information into knowledge that represents a competitive advantage for the organization. However, despite being a strength for any organization both to manage their strategic information and to manage the information generated by research projects, they are still not widely used. The reality shows that the academic sports institutions of the country and mainly the faculties of physical culture lack a culture in the use of systems to manage different substantive tasks of the center, such as the activity of research projects. It is estimated that if they rely more on the optimal use of the information and knowledge they have at the group level, all their scientific production indicators will be significantly increased. From this scenario, this research aims to expose the main strengths of information and knowledge management systems, mainly those aimed at projects for the stimulation of their use and implementation in academic institutions associated with sports. To achieve this objective, the logical historical method, direct observation, the method of analysis and synthesis, etc. were used. And among the main results obtained in this research there  is the relevance of the use of information management systems and knowledge aimed at projects to contribute to the promotion and success of research activities generated by projects.
