    Artikulu honetan euskararen aldeko mugimenduak 80ko hamarkadatik gaur egunera izandako bilakaeraren alderdi batzuk aztertzen dira. Metodologia kualitatiboaren bitartez lortutako datuen laguntzarekin, garaian garaiko baldintza sozial eta politikoei egokitu nahian euskalgintzak eratu dituen interpretazio markoak aztertzen dira, bestela adierazita, hizkuntzaren auzia definitzeko mugimenduak sortutako diskurtsoak. Horien artean, euskal hiztunen multzoa eraikitzeko eta trinkotzeko bidean hiztun komunitatearen inguruan egindako formulazioetan jartzen da arreta berezia. Ildo horretan, gero eta anitzagoa den Euskal Herriko gizartean komunitate-eraikuntza saio horrek mugimendu gero eta instituzioanalizatuagoari sortzen dizkion dilemak eta desafioak nabarmendu dira, besteak beste, herri partaidetza eta askotariko euskal hiztunen integrazioa lortze aldera mugimenduak beren diskurtsoak eguneratzeko duen beharra.

    This paper analyses some aspects of the evolution of the pro-Basque language movement from the 1980s to the present day. Based on the data gathered using a qualitative methodology, the paper analyses the interpretative frameworks established by the Basque cultural field in an attempt to adapt to the social and political conditions of the day. In other words, the paper analyses the discourses generated by the movement to define the language problem. Special attention is paid to the discourses constructed about the Basque language community as part of an effort to build and consolidate a critical mass of Basque speakers. In this sense, in a Basque society that is becoming increasingly diverse, the dilemmas and challenges which this community-building project poses to an increasingly institutionalised movement have become patent, with one such challenge being the need for the movement to update its discourse in order to ensure citizen engagement and the integration of a wide range of different Basque speakers
