Echar una mirada a la segunda mitad del siglo XXI se nos antoja como un viaje a lo desconocido. La rapidez de los cambios que se vislumbran se manifiestan con una velocidad de carácter exponencial, más que lineal. Se trata de pensar lo impensable, de escenificar lo desconocido e impredecible. Pero es esa velocidad, esa rapidez del cambio la que nos exige intentar descifrar lo indescifrable y ser capaces de intuir los desafíos del futuro.
Descifrar las lecciones de la historia, sus razones y sinrazones; profundizar en la comprensión de un mundo presente, pero en muchos casos ausente; e intentar proyectar las grandes cuestiones que resuenan en la historia de la vida, en muchos casos mucho antes de que el proyecto humanidad empezara a andar erguido y balbuceara sus primeras palabras, a los desafíos de la sociedad del futuro, se hace cada vez más necesario y hasta cierto punto imprescindible.

Taking a look at the second half of the 21st century seems like a journey into the unknown.
The speed of the changes that are glimpsed are manifested with an exponential velocity, rather than a linear one. It is to think the unthinkable, to stage the unknown and unpredictable. But it is that speed, the velocity of change that requires us to try to decipher the indecipherable and be able to intuit the challenges of the future.
Decipher the lessons of history, their reasons and unreason; go deeper for understanding of a present, too often absent world; and attempting to project the great questions that resonate in the history of life, in many cases long before the Humanity Project began walking erect and babbling his first words, to the challenges of the society of the future, becomes more and more evident and to some extent essential
