Resumen de Puerto Vallarta y sus etapas, una aproximación a la teoría evolutiva

  Puerto Vallarta es uno de los principales destinos del litoral mexicano, de crecimiento espontaneo que en sus inicios presentó una gran dinámica y que ha detenido sus ritmos de crecimiento, razón por la cual es necesario analizarlo a través de diferentes teorías que nos ayuden a comprender su evolución y las estrategias que se deben de seguir para reposicionarlo en el camino de un desarrollo sustentable y competitivo. De acuerdo con la investigación se determinaron la existencia de cuatro fases en la evolución de Puerto Vallarta: la fase novedad (descubrimiento e inicio); la fase de variedad (desarrollo y consolidación del destino, la crisis de la oferta hotelera y la aparición del modelo extrahotelero; la fase de selección (el proceso de desarrollo y consolidación); y la fase de continuidad (etapa del estancamiento del destino); las cuales se analizan de acuerdo con las variables de oferta y demanda y el contexto general.

  Puerto Vallarta is one of the principal destinations of the Mexican littoral, of spontaneous growth that in his beginnings he presented a great dynamics and that has stopped his paces of growth, reason for which it is necessary to analyze it across different theories that help us to understand his evolution and the strategies that must follow for reposicionarlo in the way of a sustainable and competitive development. In agreement with the investigation they determined the existence of four phases in the evolution of Puerto Vallarta: the phase innovation (discovery and beginning); the phase of variety (development and consolidation of the destination, the crisis of the hotel offer and the appearance of the model extrahotelero; the phase of selection (the process of development and consolidation); and the phase of continuity (stage of the stagnation of the destination); which are analyzed in agreement by the variables of offer and demand and the general context.
