    • Direct torque control (DTC) is an effective method that can be used to control AC machines. In this paper, a new neural network based method is used to control the synchronous reluctance motor. What is important in this control system is the optimization of the motor's losses, which will be done through an optimization strategy. The Lagrange compounding method is used to obtain a control strategy to reduce stator copper losses, and also a neural network is used to control the speed and torque of the synchronous reluctance motor. This method is an efficient way for synchronous machine drive, which increases the efficiency of the system.
