    O propósito deste artigo é estudar a noção de língua pensando o percurso de Saussure ([1916] 2006) e suas influências sobre a Análise do Discurso de linha francesa, fundada por Pêcheux (1997). Para tanto, investigaremos as influências sociológicas e filosóficas sofridas por Saussure (2006) durante sua época, de modo a tomar a língua como seu objeto de estudo científico. Posteriormente, identificaremos alguns traços possíveis de aproximação e de deslocamento da teoria saussuriana na formulação de língua em Pêcheux (1997).

    The purpose of this article is to bring to light the notion of language by thinking about Saussure's course ([1916] 2006) and his influences on the Discourse Analysis, founded by Pêcheux (1997). For this purpose, we will investigate the sociological and philosophical influences in Saussure’s work (2006) during his time, so he could make the language as an object of scientific study. Subsequently, we will identify some possible traits of approximation and displacement of the Saussurian theory in the formulation of language in Pêcheux (1997).
