    Aunque las noticias sobre la Hispania del s. V d. c. son escasas puede afirmarse que durante esa centuria progresivamente se asistirá a su pérdida por la autoridad romana, generándose en su seno un espacio fronterizo que, aunque inicialmente no sea reconocido por el poder imperial, resultaría innegable desde un punto de vista administrativo y jurídico. En todo caso la definición, evolución y concreción de dicha frontera es una tarea compleja, siendo una cuestión difícil de determinar.

    Although the news about the Hispania of the Fifth century  a.D. are scarce, we can consider that during that century it would be progressively lost by the roman authority, generating inside a border space that, although initially not recognized by the imperial power, would be undeniable from an administrative and legal point of view. in any case, the definition, evolution and concretion of this border is a complex task, being a difficult question to determine.
