    El informe analiza la batalla de Velletri luchada entre las tropas de Carlos de Borbón, rey de Nápoles y Sicilia, contra las tropas del Gobierno austriaco que tenía la intención de reanudar la posesión del sur de Italia después 10 años de la victoria de Don Carlos Borbón, primer rey de una nueva dinastía que había hecho independiente el reino de Nápoles. La batalla es una de las etapas de la Guerra de Sucesión de Austria. En el informe, más que la batalla bien conocida por los historiadores, se muestra todo lo relacionado con la ruta tomada por las tropas reales a llegar desde Nápoles en Velletri, y especialmente el tamaño y la organización del ejército y de la situación y la cantidad de heridos y su admisión en los hospitales.

    This essay analyses the Battle of Velletri, fought between the troops leaded by Charles of Bourbon, King of of Naples and Sicily, against the army of the Austrian government, which aimed to repossess southern Italy, only ten years since the king had become Don Carlos de Bourbon, the first sovereign of a new dynasty which made the reign of Naples independent. The battle represents one of the several steps of the war of the Austrian succession. Rather than the battle itself, which is well known by every historian, the essay tells us about the route followed by the troops from Naples to Velletri, the size and the organization of the army and the number of casualties and their consequent hospitalisation.
