Resumen de La población cartagenera en tiempos de Enrique III de Castilla

  El objetivo del presente artículo es mostrar un catálogo onomástico relativo tanto a los vecinos de la ciudad de Cartagena, como a otros personajes que pese a no ser originarios de dicha ciudad, tuvieron un papel decisivo en el devenir histórico de la misma (de estos últimos solo recogemos la información referente a Cartagena). El período cronológico que hemos elegido abarca el reinado de Enrique III de Castilla (1390-1406), durante el cual la ciudad gozó de un importante resurgimiento, dada la vocación mediterránea de este soberano. Debido a la escasez de fuentes y noticias relativas a Cartagena en los siglos bajomedievales, creemos que este trabajo pude contribuir y servir de guía para futuras investigaciones sobre la ciudad en estos siglos.

  The aim of this paper is to show an onomastics catalogue about citizens who were from the city of Cartagena and other people who were not from Cartagena but had a decisive role in the historical development of the city (from those, we only mention the information refer to Cartagena of these people). We have chosen this chronological period from 1390 to 1406 during the reign of Henry III of Castile when the city had an important resurgence because of the Mediterranean vocation of this sovereign. Due to the fact that there are few sources and news about Cartagena during the low medieval centuries, we believe that this Project can be used as a guide and it can help in other future researches about the Cartagena of that time.
