    Durante mucho tiempo la historiografía del arte se dedicó primordialmente al estudio de quienes indagaron la historia de la pintura y sus métodos de investigación. Más tarde, se comenzaron a privilegiar recorridos sobre los textos y, desde hace un tiempo, novedades tecnológicas aunadas a nuevas preocupaciones temáticas se han convertido en el actual desafío de la Historiografía del Arte como asignatura de la carrera de Historia del Arte. Sobre esas cuestiones reflexionaremos.

    For a long time Art Historiography was primarily concerned with the study of those who studied the history of painting and its methodologies. Later, the focus on texts began to be privileged. Nowadays, and for some time already since it was included in syllabus of the Art courses at University, the current challenge of Art Historiography has been the New Technologies together with new thematic concerns. This article explores these issues.
